We thought we’d just let you know how things are going now that the summer’s over and we’re gearing up to leave the UK to start the coming winter season in France.
James and I are now married and have moved into a flat in South London. The wedding, which took place at a tiny little church in Wales, was fantastic. I only wish that I could go back and do it all over again! Now that the wedding is behind us (an organisational feat of considerable magnitude, as I’m sure some of you will know) we can turn our focus to the business, and moving forward with the summer website.
We’re both so pleased that what we are offering seems to be what you want to see – we are nearly fully booked, and have received many more enquiries than we have rooms for. It’ll be great if the Pure Mountain summer package we’re planning to offer strikes the same chord – we’ll try our hardest to make sure that it does.
So right now James is scouring the UK for a van for us to use for transfers, and I’m just approaching the last week of my wonderful job working for Survival International, the world’s leading organisation for tribal peoples. Just a quick plug: If you’re thinking about Christmas already, have a look at Survival’s online catalogue – they sell beautiful gifts and Christmas cards, with every penny of profit going to the charity.
Speaking of Christmas, which makes me think of the white stuff, Les Gets has recently had its first snowfall of the season. Good times to come!
