Jamie Lee and Ellen were absolutely fantastic in their roles. They couldn’t do enough for us all throughout our stay. My husband has a food allergy, this was handled amazingly and very professional. All food was exceptional.rooms were cleaned and tided everyday. Both girls were very friendly with our children and made them feel very at home. My youngest daughter cried when we left and hasn’t stopped talking about them since we have been back home.they are Both a real credit to Pure Mountain.

Thank you for giving us a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We very much enjoyed Chalet Elise and Ellen and Jamie were the perfect hosts to us all. In particular, we really appreciated the time taken to create a menu that the children enjoyed. It takes so much pressure off when the children are happy and fed. Also, thank you to our hosts for treating the children so well. They felt very much included in the chalet and they enjoyed their daily interactions with Ellen and Jamie - so much so I think they may be getting a mention in Olivia's show and tell back at school this week.. praise indeed! Thank you too to Jim and Cat behind the scenes for seamless organisation.

Absolutely fab! Loved the holiday, loved every part of what and who Pure Mountain is. Genuinely think it was superb! The only disappointment was to find that I was better at skiing than the owner of Pure Mountain (Jim someone?) but to be fair, I LOVED finding that out ; ) In all honesty- I think you guys do a super fantastic job, and was v v impressed, and the team in resort couldn't have been more lovely. Excellent holiday again. Food as always was of a very high standard and home cooked. Chalet staff were engaging and friendly who worked very well together. We were left in admiration in the amount of hours and work these young people do and nothing was too much trouble. They even went out and bought me some muesli for my breakfast on their day off!

I loved this chalet and I’m sad to leave – the amazing hills for skiing Mont Chery and the big side. I loved the big meals of great food but I’m also excited to go home to see our border collie Shadow. This was our 1st time in this chalet, our last 6 times we’ve stayed in Forestiere. I started skiing at 3 years old, the first time I came to Les Gets I was 4. Happy Birthday Ellie (for tomorrow I won’t be here.)

Thank you so much for an amazing week! We’ve been very well looked after by the lovely Ellie & Claire- lots of yummy food for both adults and kids – especially enjoyed the cake in the afternoon. Skiing has been great – runs are really well suited to the kids who have all really enjoyed their lessons & skiing with mum & dad! Both Ellie & Claire have gone out of their way to help us in anyway they can- particularly with the kids – seven in our party! The chalet is kept lovely and clean – and nice touches with tidying kids rooms and folding pyjamas. Random requests for kids food have been met with no issue e.g fresh milk & even washing up kids bottles. Overall a wonderful holiday which we will remember for a long time.

We as a family have never been skiing, but we must compliment the position of the chalet to the slopes. A fantastic chalet which was home from home for the week. Beautiful location with wonderful views. Well equipped and resourceful chalet which has a really homely feel to it..BUT..best of all were the hosts Matt and Cin, who were exceptional in every way. A great combination who made our stay so perfect. The front of house hosting by Cin by superb, attentive, funny and amicable, who could not do enough to help. Matt's cooking was sublime and his calmness and composure in the kitchen was a testament to his skill. Chloe was great in checking on us, and sorting out extras. Would highly recommend. We have been blessed by

1. Having the chalet to ourselves, and
2. The girls having you to themselves, you have been a delight and made them feel very special, and that nothing has been an inconvenience.
3. The cooking has been Michelin 4 star standard in plentiful quantities, and beautifully presented. To be waited on like this has made us feel like royalty, and given us a chance to mentally relax physical relaxation is out of the question when you go skiing!)

We hope your time here is rewarding, and your own futures are bright, happy and all you want them to be.

Our third time in Chalet Elise and the best time ever. All our chalet hosts have been superb but Abbi and Matt were the best of all. Danny Resort Manager) was here every day as well and they are a great team. So lucky with the weather and the snow just held out for us.

The food was excellent and a vegetarian option was always available. Desserts too delicious.

We will be back next year hopefully.

We’ve loved the skiing, and Choucas remains our top favourite run mainly because it doesn't involve much actual skiing). Today we went to Avoriaz - the children particularly enjoyed Proclou and lil’ Stash.

We have had an absolutely wonderful time. Rosie and Lucy have been amazing hosts and we have nothing but the highest praise for them - thank you so much for all of your effort and attention to detail - Fantastic! You are superstars! The chalet was kept immaculate and the food was consistently exceptional, but what really made our stay special was their hospitality. With a cheery disposition, they both went out of their way to accommodate our every need and did so in a relaxed, friendly and totally professional manner. They work extremely hard and must be very tired with finishing work at 9.30-10pm at night, starting again at 7 and, naturally, finding some time to play in between. But whilst they did admit to some tiredness, their work was not affected. Well recruited and well trained! We haven't done a catered chalet before, but did hear some less than glowing reports from the other guests about their previous non Pure Mountain) holidays, and so we don't take for granted the high standard of holiday we received. Now the bar has been set so high, it will be hard to go anywhere else!

I leant to ski in Les Gets in 1985, driving up each day from Thonon-Les-Bains with my penpal sylain fornet and his family. I was 14 years old. Immensely gratifying to return 31 years later with my family and see my three kids go from complete novices to blue piste gurus in six days. We’ve had a stack of snow this week, a bit of rain and an occasional glimps of blue skies and sunshine. Melezes and belle Moville and les choucas we the highlights for me! We will be back!

I have really enjoyed my stay in chalet Forestiere, the , the rooms and general hospitality have all been amazing. Rick and Charlotte are incredible hosts. The mountians were beautiful and having a chalet so close to the pistes has been very convenient. Just the truly perfect holiday! Superb welcome on arrival, very comfortable bedroom with an Alpine theme, cosy, warm and heaps of storage space. Lovely surroundings, very comfortable apartment, amazing cooking from Dan and Tilda – huge amounts of food (and beautiful table decorations at Christmas from Tilda). Dan was a magician in the kitchen and a wheeler-dealer for us to provide elusive Avoriaz lift passes. The weather was glorious though – the upside is a bit of a suntan!

Although the snow was a little lacking at the start of the week, there was nothing lacking in the hospitality shown by Pure Mountain. We felt totally spoilt having hot breakfasts and lovely dinners cooked for us each day in a warm and friendly environment. It was wonderful to finish the week with 24hrs of great snow, some great family time skiing and a wonderful meal amongst new friends. My 6th time in Les Gets came out to meet friends staying at accommodation nearby. While an accidental find this has been a great week, and I would recommend Pure Mountain and chalet Elise des Alpes to others. The service has been fantastic, amy and Jim have gone out of my way to make my stay a great one. Even as I write they got up early to make breakfast for my early departure. The attention to detail is amongst the best of any chalet holiday I’ve had in 20 years, and certainly Jim’s fantastic breakfasts were the best in Les Gets!

Our fifth year with Pure Mountain and again it didn’t disappoint. Sinead and Ros were fantastic and very flexible, putting up with varying times for kids meals and adults struggling to get children asleep. Everything from ski hire, lift passes to transfers was smooth and straightforward and the visit of Jim was great. Good to see Pure Mountain prospering and providing wonderful holidays for so many. I really enjoyed this holiday. It was the first holiday that I could really test myself. But the best bits were starting from the morning! What a wonderful week. Sinead has been a fab host – amazing food and great fun – all of us have loosened our belts a notch despite all the exercise. Our first time in Les Gets, with a mixture of skiing abilities, and there was something for everyone. It was great to take two families down the Choucas and other blue runs on the last day, with several first time skiers. Les Bruyeres was exactly what we needed – loads of cakes and food on returning from the slopes. Harry was very cute and his onion gravy was very good! Both Harry and Sinead have been patient and excellent with the children. Well done to Dan and all the Pure Mountain team.

Sinead was perfect – fab food and Harry very cute. the whole package gave elderly beginners a great start to skiing. Throughout the week Sinead and Harry have been exceptional – nothing has been too much trouble.

The whole holiday and chalet has exceeded our expectations.

Exceeded all expectations! An amazing resort with slopes for all abilities. Weather has been fantastic. Sinead has provided us with outstanding food every day and has catered for all our needs in her calm, friendly and warm nature. Harry and Sinead have been exceptional with our children, Sinead even looking after one of our injured boys for the morning, entertaining him with her magic tricks and bubbly personality. Having a child injured on the slopes (breaking a leg) was stressful for the whole family – however Jim and his lovely team at Bruyeres couldn’t have done enough for us, providing us with local knowledge and being so supportive and kind during a difficult time. We look forward to returning!

Thank you for looking after me so well for all the time I have been here. You have made me so welcome and gone out of your way to enable me to experience the whole ‘Alpen Holiday Package’. I have had a really wonderful week. Helping in the kitchen was a holiday with a difference. On my next holiday I shall miss getting up early to collect the bread and empty the dishwasher. Well its ‘hat-trick’ for Pure Mountian! Great ski break again! Dan still on top form…. great food, chilled out host – fab. Shared the chalet with 8 ladies the first two nights, 9 lads second two nights – great mix. (They even drank earl grey). So much skiing without kids in tow… but we’ll all be back at Christmas we hope – get the sticky toffee pud ready!

Well it’s defiantly stopped snowing so we can just see the spectacular views surrounding the chalet! The location is just perfect! 2 Minutes away from the chairlifts on either mountain and 2 minutes away from the village (which is also beautiful!). We all felt that the chalet was brilliant, the rooms were beautiful, it was always tidy and welcoming and the food was fantastique!! Josh has been absolutely amazing, we all devoured his 4-course meals every night and he worked to our every need consistently. He made us feel so welcome and our stay in Les Gets was even more brilliant than expected! The only improvement would be a hot tub…….ha ha now that would be the ultimate chalet!!! Merci for a fabulous week. I may not have skied but I have still all, really and truly enjoyed it! The cooking was very good and I looked forward to the new cake every day. The chalet was comfy, cosy and homely and Dan was the best chef/ cleaning/ helping person ever. If there are any future occupants reading then hello, and when you go in the hot tub you have to jump out, roll in the snow then jump back in. My Uncles did it and it is highly amusing!!! bI recommend the chocolate torte, it is very, very nice, not a single crumb left on the plate. This holiday gave me some very funny and memorable memories, and I shall treasure it forever.

A wonderful time had by all on our second skiing holiday. Lessons went well for us all, with not too many tears or bruises! Rachel and Josh were just perfect in helping us to relax and recharge – the food was great! Clare the Resort Manager was the fountain of all knowledge and her Easter tree activity kept all kids aged 3-13 entertained! She even helped with lost skis! We all hope to ski again soon.

Skiing for us was certainly a first, I think that John was fearing the worst – images of bruises and broken bones and tired children full of moans! But there you go, how wrong could we be! The snow, sun and fun did it for me, and then there’s the cake, the food and the wine. Thanks Jim and Cat, the experience was divine.

We arrived at Geneva, where were we at?
A green bobble hat appeared and took us to Cat.
It was snowing and windy, a right blummen storma,
Little did we know how we’d love the chicken korma.
We got to the chalet, of skiing we were shy,
We’d not of course planned for the orange blur of Guy.
Each dawn we’d awake with a coffee and “morning!”
Whilst the girls in Nic’s class were pretty and fawning.
We’ve seen Dunc take a tumble, Pam shout and cry,
We’ve seen Rich yearn for Steve and asked ourselves why.
We’ve drunk wine by the gallon and litres of beer,
Has it been fun? Yeah, here’s to next year!
