We’ve been busy little bees over the last few weeks: Buying Christmas crackers, Christmas puds and jars of golden syrup in the UK, then driving our to France for a week of staff training.
With nine staff in total, plus Jim, me, and our two little boys we were quite a crowd, and our chalet hosts were able to practice the menus on a full table of appreciative guests! The boys were fun to have around and at times even boarded on being useful – here’s Samuel trying to sweep up in Chalet Forestiere.
The snow canons had been going throughout December, so there were huge mounds of snow all over the Chavannes slope when we arrived, which provided wonderful sledging inclines for Lucas.
Christmas Day was magical in Les Gets, with loads of snow falling throughout the day, and there’s more forecast in the coming days. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and wish you all the very best for the New Year.
